(BOISE, ID) – A controversial bill being considered in the state legislature could revive the “Add the Words” campaign.  Representative Lynn Luker’s proposal would protect religious professionals from having their licenses revoked if they refuse service to gay, lesbian, and transgendered people. Former state Senator Nicole LeFavour says that if Luker’s bill makes it through a committee vote, a public hearing would likely draw a strong response from residents who want change the Idaho Human Rights Act to include protections for the LGBT community.
