Man Facing Charges for Pipe Attack

(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – An Idaho Falls man is in custody following an attack with a copper pipe. Forty-four-year-old David Weninger allegedly attacked a 55-year-old man on the 400-block of “A” Street Monday. When police arrived on the scene, Weninger reportedly became combative and kicked an officer several times. The suspect, who was also found in possession of marijuana, was charged with domestic battery, resisting arrest, and felony aggravated battery with the use of a deadly weapon. Bond has been set at $10,000.
