Bonneville deputies searching for suspects after road rage incident

UPDATE: The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office has made contact with the occupants of the gray pickup in question. No further details have been released.

IDAHO FALLS — Bonneville County Sheriff deputies are asking for help finding at least two men who attacked another man during a road rage incident.

The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 in the area of 45th E. and Indian Springs Rd.

Deputies were called to the scene and say they found a man who was bleeding from the head. He and a passenger told investigators they were traveling south on 45th E. near 49th S. when they encountered a gray pickup truck “driving in a reckless manner.”

The men say they followed the truck to Indian Springs Rd. where there was a confrontation between the victim and a man who was in the gray truck.

The victim was taken to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center with a head injury and was released from the hospital a short time later.

Deputies tell EastIdahoNews.com the gray truck was occupied by at least two men and had a personalized license plate with wording similar to “no smoking.”
