It was just the fourth win over an AP-ranked non-conference team in program history.

Neither team held more than a one-score advantage. The Tigers (3-1) scored 10 straight points in the second half, taking a 27-24 lead on Andrew Baggett’s 40-yard field goal. However, the reigning Southeastern Conference West champions couldn’t hold off the offense of the Hoosiers.

Indiana went 75 yards in just six plays to pull off the upset. Tevin Coleman rushed for 132 total yards, including a 44-yard scamper that set up the winning score.

“It was a really big win,” said Coleman, who missed the final 20 minutes of the first half with cramps. “We came out here with fire. We played until the end.”

Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk tossed for 326 yards and two scores to pace the Tigers, while Russell Hansbrough ran for 119 yards.
