Car Wedges Under Tractor-Trailer in E. Idaho
Published at | Updated atPOCATELLO, Idaho (AP) – Idaho State Police say an 18-year-old man driving a small car at freeway speed on Interstate 15 in southeastern Idaho fell asleep and drifted into the undercarriage of a tractor-trailer traveling in the same direction.
Police say the 2003 Dodge Neon driven by Dakota Mason of Pocatello became stuck under the tractor-trailer at about 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say both vehicles were going somewhere around 70 mph when the crash occurred in Pocatello.
The truck driver wasn’t injured.
Police say Mason was treated at the scene and cited for inattentive driving.
Police say the Neon was totaled.
