Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” Debuts in IMAX Theaters Wednesday
Published at(NEW YORK) — Christopher Nolan’s space drama Interstellar does not officially open until Friday, but it debuts in select IMAX theaters on Wednesday.
In Nolan’s first film since The Dark Knight Rises, Matthew McConaughey plays an engineer who leaves his children behind on Earth and travels in space with other explorers. Their mission: to search for a new home for mankind to replace Earth, which is dying.
Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin, Ellen Burstyn and Michael Caine also star in Interstellar, which is rated PG-13.
