L.A. Clippers Defeat Trail Blazers, 106-102 Behind Redick’s 30 Points
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — The Clippers had four players score 20 or more points as Los Angeles (3-3) clipped the Portland Trail Blazers (4-2) on Saturday, 106-102.
Shooting guard J.J. Redick led the way for the Clippers with 30 points while power forward Blake Griffin contributed 23 points. L.A. also received offensive contributions from point guard Chris Paul who had 22 points and 11 assists while guard Jamal Crawford poured in 20 points. Center DeAndre Jordan was a force on the boards, pulling down 14 rebounds.
The Trail Blazers came back from a nine point deficit, to pull within two at 104-102 with just over 30 seconds remaining in the game, but Crawford hit two clutch free throws to seal the win for L.A.
Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard had a team-high 25 points.
