President Recep Tayyip Erdogan says that the defaming of mosques and other crimes against Europe’s Muslims are not met with the same outrage.

A handful of mosques have been vandalized throughout Europe since the attack by gunmen that killed 17 people in Paris.

Erdogan also denounced Israel’s prime minister, who attended the rally in Paris with other world leaders, for recent deaths of Palestinian civilians at the hands of Israeli forces.

The Turkish leader said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should not have attended the rally, citing recent offenses by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip that killed more than 2,000 people — mostly civilians.

Erdogan did not attend the rally in Paris. However, Turkey’s prime minister was on hand.

Turkey has recently come under fire in Europe for the number of fighters that pass through the country en route to the war in Syria.

Earlier this month, the wife of one of the Paris gunmen arrived in Turkey, then crossed the border into Syria.
