Apple Shows Off New Photos App for Mac

Apple(NEW YORK) — Apple has given developers the first look at its crisp new photos app, which is expected to be a replacement for iPhoto.
Simply called “Photos,” developers were given a first look at the beta app in OS X 10.10.3. Taking the best attributes of Photos on iOS, the app is crisp and uncluttered, providing a familiar experience to iPhone users.
Users can stay organized by toggling between photos, albums and projects on a task bar. Aside from the design makeover, the Photos app comes equipped with cloud integration, allowing people to make edits from any device and to save them to the cloud.
The update is expected to be rolled out to the public in the spring.
