Tuesday’s news of chief technology officer Ethan Czahor’s resignation came just a day after BuzzFeed reported that the Hipster.com co-founder had been scrubbing his Twitter account clean of offensive tweets in which he referred to women as “sluts,” among other questionable comments.

Bush, a former Florida governor, is seriously considering a run for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

Initially supportive of Czahor despite his “inappropriate” tweets, The Right to Rise PAC said Tuesday the comments “do not reflect the views of Governor Bush or his organization and it is appropriate for him to step aside.”

Czahor’s tweets shrunk from 177 to 132 by Monday. One of the deleted ones read, “i know lindsey [sic] lohan is supposed to die soon but i’d sure like to sleep with her before that happens.”

Czahor created the microsite jebspeech.com in the few days that he served as chief technology officer.

On Tuesday, he tweeted, “i’ve resigned my role at right to rise. best of luck to everyone there, and i apologize in advance to whoever fills my position.”
