Published at(MINSK, Belarus) — After marathon talks overnight in Belarus, a cease-fire deal has been reached for Ukraine.
Russian President Vladimir Putin, French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko spent over 15 hours discussing the deal, which calls for a cease-fire starting Sunday followed by a process of constitutional reform.
Putin also said he and his counterparts have agreed on a dividing line for withdrawing heavy weapons.
Hollande touted a “full” deal, but almost immediately there were disagreements over what had been agreed to.
Many remain skeptical this peace deal will hold.
