Rand Paul to Call for Hillary to Return Saudi Money
Published at(MANCHESTER, N.H.) — Sen. Rand Paul is expected to call for Hillary Clinton to return any money the Clinton Foundation received from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Friday night.
Paul, like many potential Republican candidates for 2016, is piling on Clinton, who has long been considered the Democratic frontrunner. Paul’s call for Clinton to return the money is based on Saudi Arabia’s standing on women’s rights.
“There has been much talk of a war on women,” Paul will say, according to an excerpt of his remarks Friday night at the Carroll County, New Hampshire Lincoln Day Dinner provided to reporters. “There is indeed a war on women…in Saudi Arabia. When Hillary Clinton claims she will support women’s rights, ask her why she accepted millions of dollars from…”

Clinton gave the keynote address last week at the United Nations’ Women Empowerment Principles Event, calling “full participation of women and girls” the “great unfinished business of the 20th century.” She called the issue “personal” to her.
