Apple: Some Apple Watches Will Ship Earlier than Expected

Apple, Inc.(NEW YORK) — Despite most Apple Watch models being sold out until June, the company says it may be able to expedite delivery on a number of orders.
“We’re happy to be updating many customers today with the news that their Apple Watch will arrive sooner than expected,” the company said in a statement. “Our team is working to fill orders as quickly as possible based on the available supply and the order in which they were received.”
The company says customers will be notified through email or text message if their delivery may be expedited. “We know many customers are still facing long lead times,” Apple acknowledged, “we appreciate their patience.”
More than one million Apple Watches were pre-ordered.
