Gas Prices Largely Unchanged

FeelPic/iStock/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) — Gas prices around the country remained largely steady this week, with the national average price for one gallon dipping by half a cent.
A gallon of gas costs an average of $2.41 nationally, the U.S. Energy Information Administration says. Prices in most regions fluctuated by under one cent from last week. New England saw its average price fall by one cent, while the Rocky Mountains saw theirs increase by just over three cents.
Gas prices on the West Coast dipped by about three cents as well.
Of the states in which the EIA measures average gas prices, California is the only state where a gallon costs more than $3 on average.
