Piers Morgan Questioned In Connection with “Mirror” Hacking Investigation
Published at(LONDON) — Piers Morgan was questioned by police in London on Tuesday regarding a hacking investigation involving his time at = The Mirror.
Morgan tweeted Tuesday that the interview was his second regarding the investigation. Morgan, a former editor at the newspaper, has repeatedly denied being involved in any hacking.

London’s Metropolitan Police Service said only that “a 50-year-old man was interviewed under caution…in connection with suspected conspiracy to intercept telephone voicemails.”
In a statement, Morgan acknowledged the previous interview — which he says took place in December 2013 — and said that this second interview had been requested by police “some time ago.”
“As this is an ongoing investigation, I am unable to comment further until its conclusion,” Morgan said.
