Braves’ Shelby Miller Loses No-Hitter After 8 2/3 IP vs Marlins
Published at | Updated at(MIAMI) — Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Shelby Miller lost his no-hitter with one out to go in the ninth inning against the Marlins when Justin Bour hit a single to center field.
Dee Gordon followed up with a single of his own, before Miller got the final out to complete the two-hit shutout.
Miller walked one and struck out four over nine innings of work and the Braves defeated the Marlins, 6-0.
