IDAHO FALLS — The Idaho Falls Police Department responded to the “D” Street Underpass around 10:22 a.m. after a semi-driver misjudged the height restriction.
Several feet of the semi-trailer’s roof were removed in the accident. No one was injured in the accident. Officers said traffic was diverted for two hours.
This isn’t the first time a semi-truck has collided with an underpass. Shortly after the city celebrated the opening of the 12-foot underpass, an oversized truck hit into the underpass.
