Jason Miller/Getty Images(CLEVELAND) — The Golden State Warriors tied the NBA finals 2-2 after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-82 Thursday night.
The Cavs appeared to struggle with a change in the Warriors’ starting lineup, with Warriors coach Steve Kerr inserting veteran Andre Iguodala in place of Andrew Bogut.
Kerr admitted he lied when asked prior to Game 4 if he would start Bogut.
“I don’t think they hand you the trophy for…based on morality. They give it to you if you win. So…sorry about that,” Kerr said in the postgame press conference.
LeBron James finished the game with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists in his worst showing of the finals so far.
In the second quarter, the Cavs star cut his head after crashing into photographers. He remained down for several minutes while game play was stopped, but continued to play after using a towel to stop the surface cut from bleeding.
Game 5 will be played Sunday, June 14 in Oakland, California.
