Three members of the Florida delegation bet some classic Sunshine State delicacies that their Tampa Bay Lightning would beat the Chicago Blackhawks – and four Illinois House members, led by U.S. Representative Mike Quigley, the co-chair of the Congressional Hockey Caucus, bet against that.

Now, this is what Quigley and his colleagues get to collect:

Rep. David Jolly (FL-13): Grouper sandwiches
Rep. Dennis Ross (FL-15): Fresh-squeezed Florida orange juice and Ybor City cigars
Rep. Gus Bilirakis (FL-12): Tarpon Springs Sponges and baklava

The senior senators from the two Stanley Cup finalist states also wagered a bet – Sen. Bill Nelson now has to give Sen. Dick Durbin some Cuban sandwiches. Durbin also took to the Senate floor Tuesday to praise his Hawks: “Last night was so much fun for all of us to watch that victory,” he said.
