Bomb explodes at Idaho Falls law office

IDAHO FALLS – An explosion that occurred early Friday morning caused significant damage to a law office on 9th Street.
Idaho Falls police said firefighters and law enforcement responded to a structure fire at the Swafford and Ward Law Firm at 525 9th St. around 12:45 a.m.
Investigators said the fire was a result of a homemade bomb intentionally set off at the front door of the law office.
There are no suspects at this time.
The explosion also caused damage to a nearby home in the 800 block of Flora Circle. No one was hurt.
Idaho Falls Regional Bomb Squad technicians and Idaho Falls Police Department investigators responded to the scene.
