Watch Promo for Final “Downton Abbey” Season

ITV(NEW YORK) — While the final season of Downton Abbey won’t premiere in the U.S. until January, there’s a new promo online that will whet your appetite.
It was released over the weekend by British broadcaster ITV, which will debut the sixth and final season of the period drama in the U.K. on September 20.
In the one-minute clip, Robert Crawley, played by Hugh Bonneville, tells Jim Carter’s Mr. Carson, “If I could stop history in its tracks, maybe I would. But I can’t, Carson, for neither you nor I can hold back time.”
The new season debuts in the U.S. on PBS on January 3, 2016.
