Man hops on counter, robs Ammon pharmacy at gunpoint

IDAHO FALLS – Bonneville County sheriff’s detectives are asking for help in finding the man who robbed a Walgreens pharmacy at gunpoint.

The robbery happened at 3 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at the Walgreen’s in Ammon. The sheriff’s office released information on the robbery Thursday, Oct. 29.

The suspect is described as a white man with a large frame, 5’8” to 5’11’’ tall, weighs 180 to 200 pounds and is 30 to 40 years old.

An unspecified quantity of pharmaceutical drugs was stolen.

The sheriff’s office said no one was hurt in the robbery.
