UPDATE (8:45 p.m.) — Police have left the Sleep Inn and things have returned to business as usual. We haven’t been told if anyone has been taken into custody but will keep you posted when new details come in.

IDAHO FALLS — Police have released a photo of the man they believe robbed a gas station Saturday morning.

Detectives say the man walked into the Phillips 66 gas station on the corner of Rollandet and 17th Street around 9:00 a.m.

The store clerk told police he picked up a soda and candy and brought it to the counter. As the clerk rang up the items, police say the man pulled out a knife and demanded money from the cash register.
