EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley Furniture HomeStore are teaming up every week to bring you some good news during Feel Good Friday!

We want to surprise people in our community with random acts of kindness and leave you with some feel good moments.

For the last 30 or so years, Shirley Bush has worked as an aide at Stoddard Elementary in Blackfoot. She spends her days helping students who, without her attention, wouldn’t get the help they need.

Beyond assisting them with basic questions, Shirley cares deeply about the lives of every child she meets. She has gone above and beyond more than once to help a student going through a hard time.

Everyone in the school calls her Grandma Bush because she shares love with everyone she meets and truly is like a grandmother to so many.

Shirley just turned 90, and is still dedicating her time to school and neighbors and family.

We decided to show up at Stoddard Elementary and thank Grandma Bush for Feel Good Friday. Watch the video above to see how it turned out!
