Morgan Reannon Henderson, 34, was arrested on Saturday afternoon, Utah County Sheriff’s Office officials reported on the agency’s website.

Henderson, of Mammoth, was arrested for investigation of obstruction of justice, a second-degree felony. Her cash-only bail was set at $100,000.

According to officials, Henderson is the girlfriend of Jerrod William Baum, 41, who was arrested earlier this week for investigation of murder and kidnapping in connection with the two teens’ deaths.

Henderson was arrested because officials say she denied having seen or spoken to Otteson and Powell after they were last seen on December 30 when she was interviewed by law enforcement officials.

Henderson was arrested on March 25 in Sanpete County in a separate, unrelated investigation. After she was arrested in that case, Henderson told investigators she was with Baum when he allegedly killed Otteson and Powell, officials said.

The bodies of Otteson, 17, and Powell, 18, were found about 100 feet down Tintic Standard Mine No. 2 near Eureka on Tuesday.

Baum was arrested Thursday for investigation of two counts of aggravated murder, two counts of aggravated kidnapping and two counts of desecration of a dead body and several other charges.
