The following is a news release from the city of Ammon.

AMMON — Effective March 1, the city of Ammon will be contracting with Eagle Rock Sanitation for all commercial sanitation services. The new contract will not include any residential sanitation services, which will still be served by the city of Ammon. Contracting with Eagle Rock Sanitation will save our commercial customers approximately 23.5 percent per cubic yard.

Customers utilizing the 6-yard sanitation service (twice per week) currently pay $208.32/month with the city of Ammon. These customers will now pay $168.68/month under the new contract with Eagle Rock Sanitation, a savings of $39.64, or 23.5 percent from current rates.

“Eagle Rock Sanitation is looking forward to serving the businesses of Ammon after being selected as the commercial solid waste hauler for City of Ammon franchise,” says Kim Galloway, owner of Eagle Rock
Sanitation. “It is an honor for us to bring our know-how and experience to provide the best and most cost effective service for the business community. We look forward to meeting with each individual business to custom-tailor the service to fit their needs.”

Eagle Rock Sanitation is a locally owned and operated business serving Southeast Idaho for over 20 years.

During the month of February, Eagle Rock Sanitation will meet with every commercial customer to understand their sanitation needs and answer any questions about the transition from the city of Ammon to Eagle Rock Sanitation.

“The City of Ammon is excited to save costs for our commercial sanitation customers through this new
contract with Eagle Rock Sanitation,” says Mayor Sean Coletti.
