REXBURG — Sixteen lucky people learned Thursday that they are getting free pizza for an entire year from Righteous Slice.

Customers who visited the restaurant in December were given envelopes that contained a variety of prizes including free dessert, drinks, ten percent off meals, double points, merchandise and more. Those who received an envelope were instructed to bring it back unopened in January.

A select few were given a golden ticket and invited to attend a private party Thursday evening.

Those at the party watched as fresh mozzarella was made in front of them and guests sampled specialty pizzas and homemade Italian ices that are not normally available on the menu.

Everyone at the party was given a new envelope and instructed to open it at 8:55 p.m. – five minutes before the end of the event. They were told one envelope contained a golden ticket that would allow the recipient to enjoy free pizza for a year from the Righteous Slice.

The time arrived and the 16 guests opened their envelopes – only to find that every single person had won the free food for the next year.

Righteous Slice owners Bill and Cheryl Crawford tell EastIdahoNews.com they held the promotion to let their customers know how much they love them and they hope recipients enjoy their food during 2019.
