Police ask for help finding man who stole wine from convenience store

REXBURG — Police are asking the public for help in identifying a man who stole alcohol from a convenience store Saturday.

The man walked into Maverik at 859 West Main Street, grabbed a bottle of wine and ran out the door.

“We don’t know who he is and are hoping somebody can help identify him,” Rexburg Police Chief Shane Turman tells EastIdahoNews.com.

Surveillance footage shows the man was wearing a red beanie and a blue and white checkered plaid shirt or jacket.
