Several schools in eastern Idaho are closed Monday due to weather or illness.

Fremont County Joint School District 215 will not be holding classes due to an accumulation of snow, possible wind and inclement road conditions.

Firth School District 59 and Shelley School District 60 have canceled classes due to a large number of students or staff who are sick.

Taylor’s Crossing Public Charter School in Idaho Falls is also closed Monday and Tuesday due to illness.

These closures are the latest in a string of school closures across eastern Idaho. Multiple schools in Bonneville, Madison, Fremont, and Teton counties closed their doors for parts of this week due to widespread illness.
