POCATELLO — Charges against a local man accused of exposing himself to a 12-year-old girl have been dismissed.

Bryan Westling Yowell, 57, was cited for indecent exposure on Sept. 16, 2020. A similar such charge landed him on the Idaho sex offender registry in 2007. The misdemeanor charge from the 2020 arrest was dropped by Bannock County Magistrate Judge Scott Axline.

Yowell is alleged to have dropped his pants, exposing himself to a 12-year-old girl on the 1000 block of Wyeth Street in Pocatello while walking his dog. He has been accused of doing so numerous times in the past.

Yowell’s latest charge was dismissed on April 21. A stipulation in the dismissal, however, would allow the case to be re-opened should he be accused of a similar crime in the next 18 months.
