IDAHO FALLS — Authorities have caught a third man they say escaped from custody while on work release.

Levi J. Bautista, 22, was found in Ada County on Sept. 12. According to a spokesman with the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, Bautista was transported last week to Bonneville County.

According to court documents, Bautista was placed with an ankle monitor in March due to charges of unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and three warrants for probation violation.

Bautista and Tyson Greene Mitchell, 35, and Peter Andrew Lewis, 42, had been released from the Bonneville County Jail on ankle monitors for work release and court-ordered furlough; however, just after noon on July 6, deputies discovered all three monitors indicated they had been cut. Mitchell and Lewis have since been caught. Click here to read more.
