10 of the coldest places that are warmer than Idaho right now

IDAHO FALLS – As we all know by now, it’s really freaking cold in eastern Idaho this week.

On Monday, we saw record-breaking cold temperatures reaching as low as -30 in Idaho Falls, -16 in Pocatello, and -38 in Island Park.

On Tuesday, the coldest recorded temperatures overnight (without windchill) reached -22 in Idaho Falls, -13 in Pocatello, and -26 in Rexburg.

Eastern Idaho reached temperatures colder than parts of Antarctica, which was -25 degrees at the South Pole on Tuesday. It was also colder than the five coldest cities in America on average, according to the Farmers Almanac.
