There was a fight between a group of people at the home, according to Idaho Falls Police Lt. Bob Lasher. A shot went off from a gun and a 54-year-old man claimed self-defense, Lasher tells EastIdahoNews.com.
The 42-year-old man who was shot was taken to a local hospital and had minor injuries, Lasher says.
The case has been handed over to the Bonneville County Prosecutors Office for review.
