Local business offering reward for tip that leads to driver of car that hit building
Published at | Updated atIDAHO FALLS — A local website-designing business is looking for answers after a car crashed into a building, leaving behind car parts and damage Tuesday night.
Jarom Manwaring, owner of Manwaring Web Solutions, says on Tuesday around 8:50 p.m., a car slammed into their building at 545 West 19th Street near the front doors.
“Luckily, it didn’t actually hit our front doors because they’re glass, but it did hit next to our front doors,” said Manwaring. “And now we can’t get into our building from our front doors, and we have to use our side doors right now.”
A nearby business caught the incident on camera. Manwaring Web Solutions employees noticed the car left behind a part that likely fell off during the crash.

“We can see the vehicle hit our building and then drive away,” says Manwaring. “A part of the car came off, and it was kind of a big break for us.”
Using Google Lens, Manwaring determined that the part probably came from a BMW. Then, with help from a local BMW dealership, he learned that the car was probably a 2000-2003 silver BMW series 3.
“BMW basically said, ‘We’re surprised they didn’t leave more behind. Their bumper is probably in really rough shape,'” said Manwaring.
