Semi blocks highway, police respond to multiple wrecks due to winter weather

IDAHO FALLS — Drivers are asked to use extreme caution Tuesday morning due to winter weather conditions across eastern Idaho.
Idaho State Police says troopers are investigating multiple crashes on Interstate 15 between Pocatello and Idaho Falls.
On US Highway 26, Idaho Transportation Department cameras show a semi-truck is blocking the road in the Palisades area, preventing traffic from moving.

Travelers should plan for extra time and drive carefully.
