FORT HALL — A serious car crash Tuesday afternoon sent four people to the hospital and shut down a highway and a railroad.
According to a news release from the Shoshone Bannock Tribes, two cars were involved in a crash around 3 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 91 and Truchot Road on the Fort Hall Reservation.

US-91 was also closed for a period of time during the response and investigation.
One victim was transported by air ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello, while three others were also taken to PMC by ground ambulance.
