Dump truck’s bed strikes traffic light, causes traffic delay on Woodruff and 1st Street
Published atIDAHO FALLS — A dump truck with its bed lifted struck a traffic light at the intersection of Woodruff Avenue and 1st Street Thursday morning.
The incident occurred around 9:15 a.m., and traffic has been impacted by the downed light and ongoing road construction along Woodruff.
According to Idaho Falls Police Department spokeswoman Jessica Clements, officers and Citizens Watch Volunteers are directing traffic while the light is being repaired.
She told EastIdahoNews.com that repairs may take one to two hours to complete, and community members are asked to seek alternate routes to avoid the areas of John Adams Parkways and 1st Street along Woodruff.
