GALLERY: When the walls come tumbling down at Pine Ridge Mall

CHUBBUCK — When the last of the Pine Ridge Mall merchants moved out on May 31, construction crews wasted no time — demolition began the very next day.
Each day since, the landscape has changed dramatically as walls come down and familiar sights disappeared into rubble.
Opened in 1981, the mall was once a bustling retail hub and social gathering spot for generations. Now, it is being transformed into a Target superstore and a modern open-air shopping center.
