Lisa Lete, Author at East Idaho News

Lisa Lete

Lisa Lete is a true-blue Idaho girl, born in the small town of Hailey and raised in the countryside of eastern Idaho. She graduated from Idaho State University with a B.A. in journalism/mass communications.

Lisa has written for several newspapers and magazines and has worked as a copywriter for radio, television, print and online ads. She has been a content writer for various companies across the country.

Lisa is delighted to be writing for East Idaho News in the communities that she loves. She particularly enjoys telling the stories of entrepreneurs, businesses, authors, artists and musicians — people who inspire and do cool things!

“I love writing and working as a journalist. There’s no such thing as ‘the same old grind’ -- it’s something different every day. I enjoy the people that I meet. I learn something new every day,” she said.

Lisa is the author of three children's books and is currently working on a YA novel, "Dandelion Dreams," set in East Idaho during the 1970s.

Lisa has three wonderful grown children: Forrest, Trey and Aleea. She spends her time between Pocatello and Island Park, and going on adventures with her boyfriend, Ray.
