EastIdahoNews.com is partnering with Ashley and Ashley Outlet of Idaho Falls to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.

We recently received an email about a lunch lady named Michelle who works at Rocky Mountain Middle School. It said:

During a very busy cafeteria lunch service, Michelle, a child nutrition employee, jumped into action when a student began having a seizure. Working alongside school staff, Michelle immediately stepped away from her serving line, called 911, and stayed with the student to provide calm, caring support until emergency help arrived.

Michelle’s quick thinking and compassion helped ensure the student received prompt care. Her actions reflect the strong teamwork and shared commitment to student safety that defines Bonneville School District, where employees across all roles are always ready to support our kids.

We knew Michelle was the perfect person to surprise for Feel Good Friday! Check out the video in the player above.
