The fate of Lindsay Clancy is officially in the hands of the jury.

Tonight on Courtroom Insider, we’re breaking down the dramatic closing arguments after a contentious and emotional five-week murder trial. The defense portrayed Clancy as a loving mother overtaken by postpartum psychosis, while prosecutors argued she planned the killings, knew exactly what she was doing and later invented the claim that a voice told her to kill her children.

There were some unforgettable moments in court, including defense attorney Kevin Reddington dramatically placing quarters on the prosecution’s table as he challenged their evidence. The prosecutor later answered by picking those quarters back up, one by one.

Now jurors must decide among several possible verdicts, ranging from first-degree murder to not guilty by lack of criminal responsibility.

Grace Wong joins Nate Eaton with her observations from inside the courtroom. Then Courtroom Confidential host Josh Ritter will be here, along with legal expert Beth Karas.

We’ll show you the biggest moments from closing arguments, break down what each side told the jury and discuss what could happen next as we wait for a verdict.
