BLACKFOOT — A local Secret Santa is spreading holiday cheer across eastern Idaho, giving away $1 million to people who deserve a little extra magic this Christmas.

Madison and her husband, Angel, welcomed their son on August 28. Just two weeks later, they learned that he had multiple fractures, including broken femurs.

His doctors say he has Osteogenesis Imperfecta, also known as brittle bone disease. They are currently waiting on genetic testing to determine the type and severity, but they have already been told that the baby will likely need ongoing care from orthopedic and OI specialists, much of which will require travel to Utah.

Angel owns his own business and is the sole provider for Madison, their 19-month-old daughter, and the baby. Because he is self-employed, any time he has to take off for appointments, travel, or possible surgeries means lost income for their family.

They are truly wonderful, devoted parents who are doing everything they can for their children while navigating something they never expected.

Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to go surprise Madison and her family. Watch the video in the player above!
