Richard Hamilton Wants Another Shot in the NBA
Published at(NEW YORK) — After taking this past year off, former NBA guard Richard Hamilton will pursue a chance to get back into the league.
Now 36-years-old, Hamilton recently spoke David Alacron of HoopsHype, he expressed his desire to play in the NBA again.
“Yeah, yeah. I think for me, personally, I have to see how my body responds after the summer,” he said. “I want to play another year and hopefully get an opportunity to play on a team with a chance to win a title.”
Hamilton also added that multiple teams have contacted him about his services for next season.
A 14-year NBA veteran, Hamilton spent the 2012-2013 season as a member of the Chicago Bulls. His minutes and points per game were the lowest of his career since his rookie season back in 1999.
For his career though, Hamilton has always been a steady and reliable wing scorer. He averaged 17.1 points per game during his career with the Washington Wizards, Detroit Pistons, and Bulls.
