Kim Jong-un Makes First Public Appearance in Over a Month
Published at(North Korea) — North Korean leader Kim Jong-un made his first public appearance in over a month, appearing at a newly-constructed residential complex, according to South Korean news agency Yonhap.
Kim’s previous public appearance came on Sept. 3, when he attended a concert by the Moranbong Orchestra. Korean Central News Agency, the North Korean state media organization, said that Kim received “field guidance” during his trip to Wilsong Scientists Residential District.
Speculation had grown in recent weeks as Kim remained out of sight. Some wondered whether the North Korean leader may have been ill or injured.
