British Airways Flight Destined for Seattle Turns Back Due to ‘Suspected Technical Problem’

Joe Ravi/iStock Editorial/Thinkstock(LONDON) — A British Airways plane returned to Heathrow Airport shortly after takeoff due to a “suspected technical problem” on Friday morning.
According to the British Airways Press Office, the plane diverted back to Heathrow Airport, where it landed safely. An airline spokesperson said that “our pilots are highly trained to deal with these scenarios.”
London’s The Telegraph reported Friday that the plane, which had over 200 people on board, had been bound for Seattle.
