Report: ‘Biggest Loser’ Contestants Leave Show in Protest
Published at(LOS ANGELES) — Producers of the NBC series The Biggest Loser have a lot weighing on their mind.
TMZ.com claims nearly all of the contestants who remain in the hunt for the $250,000 grand prize this season have quit the weight-loss show for the time being. The reason: the contestants discovered that producers are thinking of inviting previously-eliminated contestants back into the competition.
The current contestants, who reportedly don’t like the idea of giving the others a second chance at the jackpot, left the show while shooting an episode. As a result, production has been shut down for at least a week while producers figure out how to proceed.
