Deputies searching for driver of pickup who slammed into power pole
Published atBONNEVILLE COUNTY — Bonneville County Sheriff deputies are searching for the driver of a pickup truck who crashed into a power pole early Monday morning and left the scene.
The crash happened on the 2700 block of North 25th East (Hitt Rd.) around 3:30 a.m. The power pole was bent and several Rocky Mountain Power customers were without electricity for hours.
The black Chevrolet pickup truck was removed from the power pole and towed from the scene around 8 a.m. Power crews are working to make repairs and electricity is expected to be restored by 2 p.m.
