Man arrested after deputies say he was found in a stolen trailer

The following is a news release from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.
On Feb. 7, Bonneville County Sheriff deputies came in contact 36-year-old Jonathan Mitch Wood living in a camp trailer in the 900 W. block of Sunnyside Rd. The camp trailer Wood was in had been reported as stolen to deputies a couple weeks prior and had several identifying marks and registration numbers consistent with information provided by the owner at the time it was stolen.
Deputies also discovered that some of the identifying VIN and serial numbers had been removed from locations where they are commonly placed by the manufacturer.
Deputies interviewed Wood who provided unfounded information as to how he came into possession of the trailer. Wood was placed under arrest and transported to the Bonneville County Jail where he was booked for felony grand theft by possession of stolen property.
