AMERICAN FALLS — Power County law enforcement is cracking down on thefts as part of an ongoing investigation.

On Monday, the Power County Sheriff’s Office served two search warrants in theft cases, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release. The warrants were for properties on Agency Road in Fort Hall and Michaud Creek Road in Power County.

During the search on Michaud Creek, investigators recovered a stolen vehicle from Utah, which was not initially part of the investigation. At both locations, the Sheriff’s Office said they found stolen property.

Items recovered included a four-wheeler, motorcycles, tools, and other items. Several of the tools and tool-boxes recovered are connected to an Oct. 5 theft of a 2010 Dodge Ram. The truck was stolen from the Rockland area and recovered by Oct. 19.

As of Thursday morning, the Sheriff’s Office tells EastIdahoNews.com no arrests have been made.

The American Falls Police Department, Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, Blackfoot Police Department, and the Fort Hall Police Department have all helped Power County in the investigation.
