Austin Dillon Wins NASCAR Nationwide’s Kentucky 300
Published at(SPARTA, Ky.) — NASCAR Nationwide driver Austin Dillon won Saturday’s running of the Kentucky 300 at the Kentucky Motor Speedway.
The 22-year-old Dillon grabbed the lead after teammate Elliott Sadler suffered a mechanical issue with 50 laps remaining.
“We weren’t the best car, but we were able to fight, fight, fight and get out front there at the end,” Dillon said.
Sam Hornish Jr., Brendan Gaughan, Drew Herring and Sadler rounded out the top five.
